Good morning As You See It fans! I am so happy to be back designing! 

I took some time off during my pregnancy due to having zero desire to work

in my craft room. It was a little sad but everytime I tried to sit down

I just didn't feel inspired. I didn't feel very good to my stomach most of the

time but now that I have my son here I am feeling so much better!

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge! Can't wait to see what y'all create!

Good morning Try Stampin' on Tuesday fans! Hope y'all are

having a good week so far! I think we are finally getting a bit of a

break in the weather. We have had over 20 inches of rain

this month already and it isn't even over! All our lakes and ponds

are overflowing! At least we are not in a drought anymore...

We have a new challenge up at Try Stampin, this week we went 

back to a sketch. Next week it'll be something new again!

Good evening crafty friends! Hope everyone is having a great

week so far! I wanted to share a card I made this

evening following the current sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday.

I am also entering this card into the current Verve Diva Dare 

challenge called "Inside Out" where you carry your design from

the outside to the inside of your card. I am also entering

in the current Verve Diva Inspirations challenge called

"Red, White, and You." You are to use red and white and

another color of your choosing.

Viva la Verve June week 2

Good morning crafty friends! And a happy father's day to all the 

dads out there! Before I head off to church followed by 

lunch with the fam-bam I wanted to share the father's day card

that the hubs and I are giving to my dad along with a GC to Lowes!

I used the Viva la Verve June week 2 sketch.

I had alot of fun stamping my own background paper with the 3 different
tool stamps that came with the CTMH You're the Best stamp set!

Freshly Made Sketches and Verve Diva Dare

Good evening my crafty friends! Hope y'all are having a great

weekend! We finally got moved into the house yesterday 

so had our first night here last night. Unfortunately because of

the storms I didn't sleep well... Been trying to stay busy

today to keep from taking a nap. We still have some thing to get 

out of the shed and garage at the old house but have to 

wait a few days until the rain dies out to finish building the new shed.

Anyways I took a break from unpacking and decided to make

a shaker Father's day card for my daddy. I used the current

sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and am also entering my card

into this month's Verve Diva Dare which is called "A Man's World."

For this card the Timberline paper pack from Close To My Heart

along with some Kraft CS. The sentiment stamps are from Verve.

I stamped the sentiment in CTMH Twilight ink and also

inked the edges of the card and tag with a sponge in

CTMH Chocolate ink. I used two different sizes of Marvy tag punches

to do my shaker part. I used a bit of a clear acetate sheet and 

3D Foam Tape to finish off the shaker box. The sequins 

are from Hobby Lobby. for some added embellishments I used a

random assortment of twine and ribbon and some Triangle Studs.

Viva la Verve weeks 4 and 5

Good evening my crafty friends! Wow what a weekend it has been!

I was able Friday night to whip up the last two

Viva la Verve cards for the month before I packed up and 

moved all my crafty goodness! I can't wait to show y'all my new

craft room!! It's mostly put together but I want to finish before 

I share picks... I don't get to finish though until we move

the rest of the house which will hopefully end on Sunday. We've been

moving a few truck loads a day trying to get everything out

except the bedroom and living room stuff. Those rooms

still don't have carpet. Should be by Friday though.

Damask Diva's June blog hop

Hello there crafty friends! Can you believe it's June already?!

The year is already almost half way over! Boy does time fly!

The hubs and I have been super busy trying to get the new house

put together but i did find a pick of time to whip up a quick card

for the Damask Diva's June hop! This month's hop is featuring

Close To My Heart's paper pack called Timberline.

If you came from Kelly's Blog then you are in the right place!

If you have just happened upon this hop you can keep 

going or start over on the Damask Diva's Blog.

I used some of the Lagoon CS in the Timberline pack for my card

base. I then layered that with some Kraft CS followed by 

some of the Timberline B&T paper. The three circles were cut

from some other Timberline patterns. The wooden piece with the 

moose is from the Timberline Assortment and the wooden arrows are

from the Trinkets Wooden Shapes. The arrows were sponged

with Twilight and Chocolate Exclusive Inks. 

The sentiment (from Verve stamps) was stamped in Chocolate.
