Good morning Simply Create Too fans and happy Friday! It's officially fall! Are any
of y'all feeling it where you live? We keep having fall teaser weather... A couple of 70
degree days, makes us think fall is here, then shoots back up to 95... I sure hope the cool
weather comes soon and stays a while! Speaking of fall, here is our new challenge:

Mojo Monday #415

Good morning crafty friends! I hope y'all are having a great weekend so far!

Hubby and I are about to head out to go do a little hiking for the next

few days! Are plans for the weekend changed like 50 times over the last few

days because of potential rain and storms. We had originally planned

to camp but figured with potential storms that wasn't the best idea, so we found

somewhere that still had rooms available at a state park so we settled on that.

Anyways, before we head out, I wanted to share a card I made last night

following the current sketch from Mojo Monday. I am also entering this card

into the current Verve Inspiration Challenge.

October is the month when we celebrate ghosts, goblins and witches – Halloween.  

This month, we at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday are having some fun and we want 

you to have some fun too.  This week, we have a word 

scramble for you all to participate in.  Simply unscramble these two words – 

plus those on the other designers’ blogs and your name will be entered in a draw.

Sketch N Dies #14

Good evening crafty friends! I hope y'all are having a great week.

So today has been a day of remembrance and thankfulness.

It's hard to believe the World Trade Center tragedy

happened 13 years ago today. I lived in Stuttgart, Germany at the 

time and I remember coming home that with my dad from soccer

 practice and my mom almost meeting us at the car yelling 

"You have to come see this right now!" It had been about 15

mins since the first plane hit. We sat in front of the TV the rest

of the evening. I could not believe that it was actually real. 

The biggest thing that stood out to me in the weeks that followed

was the prayers and sadness that the German people had

for America. Our neighbor who hardly spoke any English

came over with flowers the next day and said "I'm sorry for your 

country, I pray for them." It was so touching. Also for the

next few weeks when we'd go to the base, right outside the base

was covered in flowers, candles, and signs from the German

people. They are just so kind and caring. Here are two pictures

I took of the base entrance, sorry for the not so great quality.

I also have a card to share this evening. I actually made it a few days

ago but didn't have time to post it. I followed the current 

sketch from over at Sketch N Dies.
