Good morning crafty friends and happy Monday! I don't know about y'all but

I might just have a very busy week! Through Thursday at least and

then I have a 4 day weekend! We have some surgeons out this week but we

also have a lot of other employees out so it makes it a little harder for

those of us still working. I'm hoping some doctors will decide that this is a 

good week so buy us lunch! lol! They do that sometimes. Well before I head out,

Good morning crafty friends! I hope y'all are having a great week!

It is almost Friday! Whoop! Anyone have any big weekend plans? We are

supposed to go watch the OKC Dodgers play on Saturday evening.

My work is doing a little employee appreciation thing. It should be fun!

We were supposed to go with some friends a few weeks back but

it was stormy tornado weather so we figured it best to stay home. They game

only went to the top of the sixth before they had to quit anyways.

I have a card I wanted to share this morning before I head off to work.

Sketch N Scrap Inspired By sketch #12

Good morning Sketch N Scrap fans! It's the 10th so that

means it's time for a new Inspired By sketch!

This Inspired By comes to us by Cathy! I love this sketch!

For my take, I decided to make a page honoring one of my sister's

very good friends that passed away recently. This friend happens to be

a Morgan horse by the proper name of One More Time. His

friends all call him Lenny though. It was a very sad circumstance when

a neighbor to the horse barn was not utilizing proper firearms

safety and was too close to the pasture and Lenny was shot by a stray

bullet in his thigh. Unfortunately the wound just wouldn't heal and

got infected so there was no choice but to put him down.

My sis was pretty devastated. She and Lenny had a special bond.

He was not at times the most patient horse or obedient horse.

The owners thought it would be neat if Hailey and Lenny at least 

tried to see if they could place at the Morgan Grand Nationals

and low and behold they came in second! It was a pretty 

big deal for Hailey and Lenny! Great times, great memories!

I used the CTMH online scrapbooking program called

Studio J for this layout. It features the Huntington paper pack.
