Freshly Made Sketches #240

Good morning crafty friends and happy Lord's day. I hope you all have had a great
weekend so far! Well we managed to make it to Sunday School last week with
little man. We are going to try and make it to the service beforehand today. We have to
try to be early enough to sit in the back by the doors in case little man gets fussy.
We have some good friends with a 4 month old who sit there. They're usually on time,
maybe I should text them and ask them to save us a few seats... lol! 

Before we head out though I wanted to share a card I made last night following the
current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I also wanted to share a pic
of how I have been finding the time to craft even though I have a three week old.
I have been asked by a few people how am I finding the time to craft...

Baby wearing! It's totally legit! When he doesn't want to go down for a nap after a
feeding without being held, but I have stuff I want or need to do, these wraps come in
super handy!! He snoozed like this for over an hour until he got hungry again.

Viva la Verve June week 1

Good Lord's Day to my crafty friends! I hope y'all have been having a great 

weekend! I still can't believe that it's June already... This year is flying by so fast!

We are going to church this morning after having not been in the past

three weeks due to little man's birth. It'll be nice to get back and see our friends

and let little man meet his new friends! Before we head out I wanted to share

a card I made the other day following the June week 1 sketch from Viva la Verve.

Good evening crafty friends! Sorry I've been MIA the last week or so. Life has been a little
busy and I haven't had enough time to craft. I found some time today though!
I was able to get a card made for the week 2 sketch from Viva la Verve as well as get a few
DT cards finished that you will see here later this week. I am also entering

this card into the Wordart Wednesday challenge and the Verve Inspirations Challenge.

Viva la Verve July week1

Good morning crafty friends and happy Monday! This is my last day off of my lovely

4 day weekend! It's nice to have one of those every so often. Do you know 

what is even better about today than the fact that I have off?! My nephew is being

born today!! I can't wait to see him! My SIL's c-section is scheduled at 2pm

today. Later will be able to go to the hospital and see them! I can't wait to see what my

little 2.5 year old niece will think of having a little brother!

Before I get to cleaning and then getting ready for the day I wanted to share a card

Viva la Verve June week 2

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all had a good weekend! Well it's

a Monday again! Lately I've been so spoiled with having Monday's off and

then having a half day Tuesday but one of our spine surgeons has

one of his more difficult cases today so I have to be there because I promised

him that I'd be there for all those cases. When I came back from my

cruise last month my lack of presence in his cases was all they were talking

and joking about. The anesthesiologist said in all seriousness, "Hillary

you really just have no idea what it's like when you're not here, Dr. Hume is

only good at hiding his frustration for so long, and by that I mean he

really isn't good at hiding it at all. We would really just like you to be here

all the time."  Have I mentioned I really like my job? It really feels 

awesome to have your skills and abilities appreciated. I have even had two 

surgeons fight over me once. It was pretty awesome. lol. Luckily I didn't have

to pick which surgeon to work with that day, boss man said the 

surgeon with seniority automatically gets what they want first. lol
