Viva la Verve May week 1

Good morning crafty friends! I hope everyone had a great long weekend! 

I hope everyone got a chance to spend time with family and friends! Of course let us not 

forget why we have the long weekend. We might not have to freedoms to 

spend time with family and friends if it weren't for those who have fought and died for 

our freedoms. I was able to do some more crafting over the weekend and made

 a card following the week 1 sketch from Viva la Verve.

Mojo Monday #449

Hi crafty friends! Remember me?! I know it has been ages! January I think since I last

posted! Well 11 days ago I gave birth to a handsome baby boy and even though 

I am sleep deprived, I feel oh so much better! My stomach waspretty messed up most of my pregnancy so I had zero desire to do any of the things I normally enjoy doing.

 It's crazy how quickly hormones change after giving birth!

Here is my sweet little man. His name is Elias. He was 6lbs 14oz and 18.5in

I decided to get a little crafty during one of his naps this morning. I followed the

current sketch from Mojo Monday and am also entering into the current

Diva Inspiration challenge over on the Verve blog.

Viva la Verve January week 2

Good afternoon crafty friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a

great weekend and your weeks are off to a great start! Hopefully

snow and sickness will start moving out of the country soon! We don't have

any snow currently in OK but it seems all of my friends have sick kids.

My husband and I do a Monday night Bible study with some family and friends

and I think we've had one in the last five weeks due to sickness. Tonight

we are going to try to do one via Google hangouts since everyone has cameras

on the computers. Hopefully it works out! It's been sad not being able to get together.

I have a card that I wanted to share today. I followed the

Viva la Verve January week 1

Good evening my crafty friends!! Wow I have been MIA for far too long! 

I feel I should explain myself.... Morning sickness aka all day sickness is for the birds!

On a bright note, we will hopefully have a healthy and happy Baby Boy in May!

His name is going to be Elias which is a version of Elisha or Elijah and it means 

Jehovah is God or Jehovah is our God. So anyways I had a very trying first

trimester and it took everything I had to get out of bed and go to work. Since then,

the past couple weeks have been better. Still tired as all get out, but I am finally starting

to want to get my mojo and motivation back for crafting!!

So here is my first card in about a month! I followed the January week 1

sketch from Viva la Verve. I loved what Lesley had done with her flowers 

Here, so I decided to give it a try with my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
