Good morning crafty friends! I hope all y'alls weeks are off to a great start!

I don't know about where y'all are from but things are starting to heat

up here in Oklahoma! We made it to 90 yesterday and are supposed to be over

90 tomorrow and Thursday. I'm starting to have to take my walks earlier

in the morning and later in the evening. Not a bad thing really.

This morning I wanted to share a card I made following the

Viva la Verve August week 3

Good Sunday morning crafty friends! I sure hope all y'all have had a great weekend

so far! We are about to head out to church this morning. I'm ready for

choir because I've had our special stuck in my head all week.! Been singing and

humming randomly throughout the days. Not that that is a bad thing at

all! I'm ready to sing it in church though! Some of y'all might know it. It's "Greater"

by MercyMe! Such a wonderful song with a great message that reminds

us that we are never too messed up to get to God! He calls us redeemed! That doesn't

mean we will never mess up again, but if we give everything to Him, he work

in us to heal and transform us, and make a new day by day! Before I head out though,

I wanted to share a card I made following the August week 3 sketch from Viva la Verve.

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all have had a great week!

It's starting to get pretty hot here in central OK! I swear we skipped spring

again. It was 75 for a week then jumped to 90 and is still rising!

Couldn't even enjoy the 75 because there were tornado's... Anyways,

spending more time indoors means more crafting! For this card I'm sharing

Viva la Verve February week 2

Good evening crafty friends! I hope y'all have had a great weekend!

We had weather pushing 80 yesterday so we took advantage of

it and spent most of the day at the zoo with with the sis and bro in law

and little niece! We had a great time! Today on the other hand

is gloomy and cold. I'ts amazing how OK's weather changes so much.

The saying "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute"

has been oh so true this weekend lol. Anyways, because of the less

than lovely weather today I was able to do a little crafting and 

made a card following the February week 2 sketch from Viva la Verve.

Sweet Sunday #248 and Verve Inspirations

Good morning crafty friends and happy Friday! I can't believe

we are only 2 week away from Christmas! Wow time really does fly!

I need to finish up my shopping asap! I usually try not to wait

so late but everyone has been so busy this year that wish lists were

a little late getting made and getting sent out. A great Christmas present

that is coming today is my FIL is getting his permanent spine simulator

put in! We are all so excited! He has had a lot of back problems

and a lot of surgeries but still in a lot of pain with meds not really helping.

Last month he had a trial simulator put in for a few days and he

said the relief was unbelievable, he felt like a normal person! So him

getting this permanent one is a real answer to all our prayers 

and really is the best gift we will get this year!

On another note, I want to share a Christmas card I made the other 

day following the current sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Good evening crafty friends! It is almost the weekend! Whoop!

Hope everyone has some crafty time planned! I think I will do a little

along with putting some hangin's on the walls to make this new

house look more like home! I also want to work in the flower bed if

it doesn't rain. This house was empty for quite a while before

we moved in so the outside has been a bit neglected.

Here is a card I made this evening following the current sketch from

Freshly Made Sketches. I am also entering this card into this month's

Verve Diva Dare which calls for a masculine themed card.
I am also entering this card into the current Nautical challenge over at
The Card Concept. For the style part of the challenge, I would consider
the style of this card to be a bit clean and layered. It seems at
first glance that there is a lot going on on this card because of the
different patterns of paper, but it really is quite a simple card.
