Viva la Verve January week 2

Good afternoon crafty friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a

great weekend and your weeks are off to a great start! Hopefully

snow and sickness will start moving out of the country soon! We don't have

any snow currently in OK but it seems all of my friends have sick kids.

My husband and I do a Monday night Bible study with some family and friends

and I think we've had one in the last five weeks due to sickness. Tonight

we are going to try to do one via Google hangouts since everyone has cameras

on the computers. Hopefully it works out! It's been sad not being able to get together.

I have a card that I wanted to share today. I followed the

Mojo Monday #378

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all had a great weekend!

I have certainly enjoyed my 4 day weekend even though my hubby

sick for part of it, including NYE. We just stayed in and

watched movies. I honestly didn't make it to midnight. I'm so used

to going to bed between 9 and 10 because I usually have to be

at work at 6ish that it's so hard to stay up past 11 even if I get to sleep in.

I wanted to share a card I made the other day following the

current sketch from Mojo Monday.

We got a few inches of snow here in central Oklahoma yesterday.
The highs are in the 40's today and sunny so it'll be melted by this evening.

Viva la Verve December card #1

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all have had a great weekend so far!

It has been chilly and foggy here the past few days. I was able to get

some good cleaning and crafting in this weekend. Also did a revamp of my blog.

 Do y'all like it? My hubby is a computer guy and has talked lately about 

some of his clients wanted their websites redone in a more modern/minimalist/light
 and airy look so I decided to try that look out for my blog. I think I like it! 

Julee from Verve went ahead and gave all the December Viva la Verve 

at once for everyone who has a busy to have an easier chance

 to play along. She also did her set of cards as a One Sheet Wonder and challenged 

everyone to do the same. You ca view it Here.I probably would have tried,

 but I make my cards a different size than most so I just followed the sketch. 

I am still going to do one per weekend like a regular. Here is my card using the first sketch:

Viva la Verve November week 4

Good morning crafty friends and happy December! 

I hope all y'all had a great long weekend and happy Thanksgivings!

Before I head out this morning I wanted to share a card.

I followed the November week 4 sketch from Viva la Verve.

I used a set i just purchased from Verve that I have been wanting for

some time and I'm so glad I finally bought it! I love it!

I decided to start making some Valentine's day cards because they

usually start selling out of my Etsy early January. The 

red, black, and white ones, or more masculine ones in other words

were my popular ones last year so I decided to get a head start.
