Good Sunday afternoon crafty friends! I hope y'all have had a great weekend

so far! We haven't done much, but I really can't complain because I got

some good housework done as well as getting my closet reorganized. I wanted

to share a card I recently made following the current sketch from Mojo Monday.

I used some digi stamps that Julee with Verve Stamps made that she is

giving out for free until October 15th. You can find them Here.

degree days, makes us think fall is here, then shoots back up to 95... I sure hope the cool

We still out of town, but heading home this afternoon. I had made another

card the evening before we left town that I thought I'd share with y'all this morning.

Mojo Monday #415

Good morning crafty friends! I hope y'all are having a great weekend so far!

Hubby and I are about to head out to go do a little hiking for the next

few days! Are plans for the weekend changed like 50 times over the last few

days because of potential rain and storms. We had originally planned

to camp but figured with potential storms that wasn't the best idea, so we found

somewhere that still had rooms available at a state park so we settled on that.

Anyways, before we head out, I wanted to share a card I made last night

following the current sketch from Mojo Monday. I am also entering this card

into the current Verve Inspiration Challenge.

As You See It #104

Good morning crafty friends! I have some exciting news!! I have been asked to be on the

Design Team over at As You See It!! AYSI is a super fun weekly challenge blog that posts

a new challenge (usually a sketch) every Friday with projects being due by Wednesday

evening! I am so happy to be playing along with this new challenge!It definitely made

me have to think outside the box, but I love to be challenged once in a while! 

For the new challenge, you must use all of these items on your project, but for

instance, like me, I din't have anything "pool party" so I just used a similar color.

For my card I cut out circles for my negative space out of my patterned Ombre paper,

then having that negative space filled with paper close to the Pool Party color, and

putting a little slate ribbon with a knot and finishing up with a sentiment and other details:

Viva la Verve September week 2

Good afternoon crafty friends and happy Lord's Day! I hope y'all have been having

a great weekend! We sure have! Friday night out with about 15 couples from

our Sunday School class and Saturday morning at the food bank. Good times!!

Before we head out to evening service I wanted to share a card I made this afternoon

for my uncle's wedding. He is my dad's half bother and only 2 years younger

than me... Sounds strange, I know. My grandma skipped out after my dad graduated

highschool and eventually my Gramps found a new lady a little younger than

him who had never had kids yet so they had a few. I think of them more like cousins

then uncle's and an aunt. Anyways, they are awesome people. The wedding

is in Utah this coming weekend, I can't go, but my parents and sisters are going so

I thought I'd make a card that I think matches my soon to be aunt's country personality

to send with a gift card along with my parents. I followed the September week 2

sketch from Viva la Verve and am also entering this card into the current 

Verve Inspiration Challenge and the current challenge at Wordart Wednesday.

Good morning Simply Create Too fans! Happy Friday! I hope y'all have a great

weekend planned! We are going out tonight with our Sunday School class friends!

Looking forward to hanging out with the whole group! Then tomorrow morning our church

is going to help out at the Regional Food Bank of OK. Our church tries to do a volunteer

Saturday once a month. I love going to help at the food bank! It really is a lot of fun!

Mojo Monday #413

Good afternoon crafty friends! I hope y'all are having a great weekend! I hung 

out with a friend last night who was bored since her husband was out of

town and had no one to watch her kiddos so I went over to her house to hangout!

We had a great time chit chatting and watched a movie. I stayed out until after midnight

which for me never happens lol! I'm getting too old to stay up late. This morning I slept in 

and then did some crafting! Later this evening we are going out to dinner with some 

friends and then my hubby is taking me to go see his new office space that I can't 

wait to decorate if he lets me! Right now he has a folding table and chair in 

there which obviously won't do. He needs an nice, professional place to work outside the

house where he can have clients meet him instead of him always having to go to them

since he doesn't want to bring them home to his office. I've been on Craigslist looking

at some nice desks and credenza's which I think would work for him. 

Anyways, before I get to a little cleaning I want to share one of the cards I made this

I made a shaker following the sketch, but I tweaked it just a bit.

For some reason I love square and rectangle shaker cards. So I did that and

thought the background could use some banners to add some extra fun.
