called Skylark. This is one of my personal favorites from the current

idea book. I am a huge fan of blue and green so you can imagine

Viva la Verve June week 3

Good morning crafty friends! Hope your weekends are off to

a great start! I'm a little on the sore side this morning from standing

at the OKC Fest from 4pm to almost midnight yesterday!

Boy was that a great concert tho! Casey Donahew band, Josh Abbott

band, Merle Haggard, and Dierks Bentley! And guess what?

We are doing all over again tonight with another round of great bands!

Anyways, I wanted to share a card I made yesterday afternoon but 

forgot to post before I left for the concert. For this card I

followed the June week 3 sketch from Viva la Verve.

Good evening crafty friends! It is almost the weekend! Whoop!

Hope everyone has some crafty time planned! I think I will do a little

along with putting some hangin's on the walls to make this new

house look more like home! I also want to work in the flower bed if

it doesn't rain. This house was empty for quite a while before

we moved in so the outside has been a bit neglected.

Here is a card I made this evening following the current sketch from

Freshly Made Sketches. I am also entering this card into this month's

Verve Diva Dare which calls for a masculine themed card.
I am also entering this card into the current Nautical challenge over at
The Card Concept. For the style part of the challenge, I would consider
the style of this card to be a bit clean and layered. It seems at
first glance that there is a lot going on on this card because of the
different patterns of paper, but it really is quite a simple card.

Viva la Verve June week 1

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all are having a great weekend

so far! The hubs and I finally just about have the rent house

ready for its new tenant! I cleaned the house last night and we had

the carpets steam cleaned this morning! There are still a few things

left to get out of the garage but luckily our new tenant isn't

going to start moving until Monday so we have a bit of time.

I wanted to share a card I was able to quickly whip together on

Thursday night. I followed the June week 1 sketch from Viva la Verve.
I am also entering this card into the current Verve Diva Inspiration challenge
which is called 'Winged Whimsy.' You have to use a butterfly, bird, or
feathers, excreta. Also have to use at least one Verve product.

Freshly Made Sketches and Verve Diva Dare

Good evening my crafty friends! Hope y'all are having a great

weekend! We finally got moved into the house yesterday 

so had our first night here last night. Unfortunately because of

the storms I didn't sleep well... Been trying to stay busy

today to keep from taking a nap. We still have some thing to get 

out of the shed and garage at the old house but have to 

wait a few days until the rain dies out to finish building the new shed.

Anyways I took a break from unpacking and decided to make

a shaker Father's day card for my daddy. I used the current

sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and am also entering my card

into this month's Verve Diva Dare which is called "A Man's World."

For this card the Timberline paper pack from Close To My Heart

along with some Kraft CS. The sentiment stamps are from Verve.

I stamped the sentiment in CTMH Twilight ink and also

inked the edges of the card and tag with a sponge in

CTMH Chocolate ink. I used two different sizes of Marvy tag punches

to do my shaker part. I used a bit of a clear acetate sheet and 

3D Foam Tape to finish off the shaker box. The sequins 

are from Hobby Lobby. for some added embellishments I used a

random assortment of twine and ribbon and some Triangle Studs.

Mojo Monday and Diva Inspirations

Good evening my crafty friends! I am coming to you from my

brand new craft studio! :-) I can't wait to take pics to share with y'all

but I really want to get the curtains, shelves, and decor hung

before I share. We still have our bed and some big pieces of furniture

to move but while hubby was doing some work in his new office

I figured I could make a quick card before he was ready to head out

for the night. For my card I used the current Mojo Monday sketch.
I am also entering this card in this month's
  Verve Inspiration Challenge called Winged Whimsy.

For this card I used the Close To My Heart paper pack called Skylark.

The layer that has the "Happiness is..." quote is one of the cards from

the Skylark Picture My Life pack. The sentiment is from Verve.

I stamped the sentiment in CTMH Sweet Leaf ink.

The Gerber daisy die is from MFT. I added some Verve Pastel Sequins,

Teal Shimmer Trim, Wooden Trinkets, and a Recollections dot

for some added dimension and bling.

Viva la Verve weeks 4 and 5

Good evening my crafty friends! Wow what a weekend it has been!

I was able Friday night to whip up the last two

Viva la Verve cards for the month before I packed up and 

moved all my crafty goodness! I can't wait to show y'all my new

craft room!! It's mostly put together but I want to finish before 

I share picks... I don't get to finish though until we move

the rest of the house which will hopefully end on Sunday. We've been

moving a few truck loads a day trying to get everything out

except the bedroom and living room stuff. Those rooms

still don't have carpet. Should be by Friday though.
