Damask Diva's April Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! I sure hope y'all are the enjoying the 

Damask Diva's Close To My Heart team blog hop! This month we

are featuring the Ariana Paper Pack! If you came here from

Shirley Bernal's blog then you are in the right place! If you have just

now stumbled upon our hop please visit the Damask Diva's 

blog where you can start from the beginning!

To be honest, Ariana was one of out new paper packs that I didn't think

that I would be purchasing. I think it was something about the big

floral print that made me think "old lady." Well I decided to 

buy it anyways, thought it might be good for some mother's day cards.

Well when I got it out and started playing with it, I fell in love

with it! The big floral pattern that I thought was a turn off has ended

up as my background paper on quite a few cards! This is the one

pack that I might actually order another one of!

For this card I followed one of this month's sketches from Viva la Verve.

For the base I used some Slate cardstock cut to be a 5.25 x 5.25

 square card. The stamps I used are from the new

  Mother's Day stamp set. I inked my stamps with Exclusive Ink in

 Crystal Blue and Outdoor Denim. I then added

some pink Flamingo Dots for some dimension.

CTMH Lollydoodle and Viva la Verve

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'all are enjoying your

Sunday! Thought I'd share a card real quick before I head off

to church. For this card I used the march week 2 sketch from

Viva la Verve. The flowers and leaves stamps and dies

are from Verve stamps. The rest is from Close To My Heart.

I used paper from the Lollydoodle paper pack.

The sentiment is from the Mother's Day stamp set. The 

Exclusive Ink colors that I used were Lagoon, Pear, and Hollyhock.

I used Nestabilities large and small circle dies as well.

CTMH For Always and Viva la Verve

Good evening crafty friends! Hope y'all are having a great

weekend so far! I wanted to share a recent card I made with y'all

featuring a Close To My Heart retired paper pack, but one

that I love, called For Always. For this card I used the March week 1

sketch from Viva la Verve. The flower and leaves stamps and

dies are from Verve. The CTMH Exclusive Inks that I used were

Pear, Gypsy, Lagoon, and Gold Rush.

Good morning Sketch N Scrap fans hope y'all are

having a great week so far! It's almost time for the weekend!

Here is a new sketch for y'all, it is due the last day of March:

Here is my take on the Sketch:

For this card I used all Close To My Heart products except the chevron

embossing folder that is from Darice. I used paper from the 

Ivy lane paper pack as well as some kraft cardstock. I used the

Feathers stamp set which I stamped in Hollyhock and Pear

exclusive inks. I then added some Pink Glitter Gems for bling.

Twisted Tuesday #72

Good morning Twisted Tuesday fans! Hope y'all are having a

fabulous day so far! We had some great entries last

week for our live a clean, green life challenge, I can't wait

to see what y'all come up with this week!

Don't forget to do both the challenge and the Twist.

Don't go near the edge.

The challenge:

Keep everything close to the middle of your project.

The twist:

Use dictionary, old, book, or script paper on your project.

My creation:

The products I used are mainly Close To My Heart. I used the 

Ivy Lane paper pack and some kraft cardstock. The

sentiment stamp is from Birthday Chatter (retired) and the leaf stamp

and die are from the brand Verve. I used exclusive inks

in Pear, Hollyhock, and Chocolate. The paper doily

I sponge stamped with Hollyhock. I added some misc. ribbon

from my stash and some Pink Flamingo dots.

Mema's Crafts March challenge part 2

Good morning crafty friends! It's Friday! Woohoo! Hope everyone

has a great weekend! So earlier this week a shared a card

I made using one of the two sketches for the March challenge at

Mema's Crafts and I decided to do the other sketch as well!

So here is my card using the second sketch!

For this card I used paper from the Ariana paper pack from

Close To My Heart. The stamps are both from the set Mother's Day.

I used Exclusive Inks in Sweet Leaf and Outdoor Denim.

Verve March Diva Inspirations

Hello crafty friends! Hope y'all are having a great week!

Wanted to share a card I made for the 

Verve Diva Inspiration Challenge. This month's challenge

is "Spring has Sprung" so you have to use spring colors, flowers,

or something else that reminds you of spring and at least

one Verve product. I also used a Cardabilities sketch for my card.

For my card I used the paper pack Lollydoodle from Close To My Heart.

The sentiment, flowers and leaves stamps and die are from Verve.

I used CTMH Exclusive Inks in Pear, Hollyhock, and Lagoon.

Mema's Crafts March sketch challenge

Good Monday morning crafty friends! Ready for a new week!

Before I head off to work I wanted to share a card

I made over the weekend. I followed sketch number 1 from

Mema's Crafts March challenge.

I used all Close To My Heart products for this card.

I used paper from the Skylark pack and stamps from the Hostess rewards

CTMH Sarita and Mojo Monday

Good Saturday morning my crafty friends! Hope y'alls weekends are 

off to a great start! My BIL and niece are on their way over

to my house this morning! I can't wait to play with

my little Violet while my bro-in-law and hubby talk work projects.

I wanted to first share a card I made last night using the 

current sketch from Mojo Monday. I am also entering this card into
the current Verve stamps March Diva Dare which is to use polka dots.
My goldrush b&t paper has some nice large polka dots on it...
I am also entering this card into the current challenge over at
Heart 2 Heart which is to use 3 of something. I have used 3 patterned
papers and stamps from 3 different stamp sets.

For this card I used paper from the Sarita pack from Close To My Heart.

The background paper I embossed using the honeycomb folder

from Darice. The flower and leaves die and stamps are from Verve.

the sentiment is from the Mother's Day stamp set. I used

Exclusive Inks in Outdoor Denim, Lagoon, Gypsy, and Goldrush.

I used an Aqua Dot for the center of the flower.

CTMH Babycakes and Retro Sketches

Hello crafty friends! Happy Friday! Let the weekend crafting begin!

I have a card I made last night that i wanted to share with y'all.

I made it using the current sketch from Retro Sketches.

For this card I used the paper pack Babycakes from Close To My Heart.

I inked the edges of some of the pieces with a sponge and

Chocolate exclusive ink. The sentiment is also stamped with Chocolate

and is from the alphabet stamp set called Keyboard Uppercase.

The button and twine are from my misc stash.

CTMH Blog Boosters new product hop

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Blog Boosters New products blog hop!

For this hop I decided to feature the Ivy Lane paper pack.

I also decided to do something a little different.

Not a card in other words... lol!

I was in need of some book marks so I settled on making some

corner bookmarks! These were easy and fun to make!

I used the Keyboard Uppercase stamps to make my quotes.

I stamped them in Hollyhock and Pear exclusive inks.

CTMH March SOTM and Special

Good morning crafty friends! Hope y'alls weekends are going great!

I've done a lot of crafting! Love it! I'm trying to get a head

on all the Design Teams that I am on because my hubby and I

will be getting a new house in 4 to 6 weeks and I'll be busy

for a month painting, cleaning and moving! I am super excited though

because I get my very own craft room!! :-)
